A war so long, almost everyone was used to it. The armed conflict in Colombia between the government and the ultra-leftist FARC guerrillas, lasting over 52 years, claimed hundreds of thousands of lives and affected millions of others. The 2 parties first sat down together in 2012; 4 years later a historical peace accord was signed. President Santos subsequently received the Nobel Peace Prize. But can this peace last? Will Marxists from the jungle find a place in democracy? Will people be able to forgive the crimes committed by all involved in this war?
