angol I certainly wouldn't be afraid to compare Balco's The Rain Falls on Our Souls with Besson's Léon: The Professional, which reminded us of the great possibilities of stories of seemingly unequal pairs in its time. Reno and little Portman are successfully replaced by Ollé and Svarinská, who has since proved many times that she is truly talented and not just a child actor. I first saw her in the Slovak series Keby bolo keby and Nesmrteľní and since then her name in the cast is a certain guarantee of quality. Balco gave us an unusual Slovak road movie about an outlaw hiding in the Danube countryside. For the then-declining Slovak cinema, a project was created that no one need be ashamed of, even the classic components that give small national movie theaters a hard time, such as humor and action, work like clockwork here.
