Akzhol loses his parents in an accident and he is left responsible for his four younger sisters. Diligent and strong-willed, Akzhol drops out of university and starts working, but it's hard for him to endure day to day and to face his landlord. A professor at the university encourages Akzhol, who has a talent for math, by giving him a special opportunity, but it may well be a luxurious dream for him considering his harsh reality. During this difficult period, love also features in various exciting but heart-breaking incidents.

The subject matter of this film, based on a true story, may seem familiar; a young breadwinner surmounting hardships and difficulties in order to support his younger siblings after the tragic loss of their parents. The greatest virtue of this particular film, however, is the belief that good intentions and sincerity can be understood, and the four blameless little siblings are pure as angels. Through the innocent-faced children's entirely natural performances, the last scene, in which everyone becomes of one mind, is quite predictable and yet strangely convincing.
