Leontina

The documentary presents the daily life of a woman born and raised in the isolated lands of southern Chile. Alone, away from an absent family and out of touch with modernity, she takes refuge in her own world. We approach to accompany her in privacy and discover a secret that links her with the past: the sea. Through Leontina we discover the power of love and the traces of time. We see ourselves in the mirror of life. This is a tribute from a grandchild to his grandmother, a love letter to the meaning of growing old. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
