Jeffrey

His name is Jeffrey. That's what his mother calls him, even if on his birth certificate it says Joselito, upon request of his father, who lives far and rarely visits. He's twelve and he works on Santo Domingo streets washing the windscreens in cars when they stop at a red light, and his aim is making some pesos in order to help his mother pay rent. Jeffrey doesn't lead an easy life, but he has plenty of dreams that alleviate the hard reality forcing him to grow ahead of time. One of his goals is to become a reggaeton singer, something his brother Jeyson is also attracted to. Together they create and sing songs about the world they live in: Los Tres Brazos, by the Ozama river. When Jeffrey is sad, he likes to climb a big tree before it's dark, because at night the tree walks... a true story with real characters that still pays attention to the magic of the movies and allows us to dream together with Jeffrey, without forgetting a reality stronger than himself: a country where children, teenagers and adults try to survive.
