Three friends who served together in Afghanistan reunite for an adventure exploring a dangerous underground cave, one that has already claimed numerous lives. The cave has been sealed to prevent further fatalities and entering it is illegal. This just adds to the thrill for these ex-military pals. When they arrive at the cave entrance, they find the seal broken. As they go deeper into the earth, things begin to go wrong. Abandoned gear and tents are found, leading them to realize perhaps they are not alone in the depths of the earth. Somebody, or possibly something, might be down there with them. Or is there a force even more terrifying lurking about them, something as primal and dangerous as the rocks and waters themselves? Everything about Cave is meticulously crafted to prey on your senses. You will feel the rock walls close in around you and the fear of something approaching from behind. You will be immersed in a tense and awesome world of sensation and fear. Cave is a nerve-bender worth exploring. (Cleveland International Film Festival)
