Khun phan

I waited four years for the subtitles, but now Khun Phan looks a bit cheap and it's a shame that nothing much of substance happens in the first hour. The final half hour on the train, however, is a decent action ride that shows effort despite the low budget. There are a few gory shots, a few unintentionally funny moments, and thankfully the final boss and his two henchmen are properly repulsive. If the whole film was in the spirit of the last half hour, I'd have no problem giving it a nice four stars, but this way Khun Phan has to make do with just three.
