I enjoy similar B-movies, but in 2 Lava 2 Lantula!, everything just seemed to be missing for me. I missed a bit more humor, a bit better utilization of existing characters - a direct reference to Police Academy just doesn't seem enough to me. I missed better special effects, and I missed a more interesting screenplay that could make up for those other weaknesses. For me, this is sub-par.
