angol This is cuteness itself. If ever a film was described as a modern Cinderella, it was never as real as this. Ella Cinders (or Cinderella) is a domestic slave and yet dreams of her fairy-tale prince... Colleen Moore is adorable as the bundle of misfortune abused by her stepmother and two stepsisters, and even in this modern version she loses her slipper. Beyond that, Moore is also a great comedian, teaching us through an effective guide on how to use your eyes so that one can relate to the film. And she performs Chaplin-esque gags for the young audiences. It’s a wonderful combination. And here comes Harry Langdon at the end. :) ()
