Warsaw. Friday evening. The city comes to life. People gather in pubs, clubs, and discotheques. A teenage boy who suffers unrequited love for a young girl who loves another girl; two women—a wife's sister and the husband's mistress; a 30-year-old single man who lost his father and a liberated 30-year-old woman seeking excitement; an elderly woman and an elderly man. They spend a few hours together playing their roles, putting on masks, searching for love. Helena, Iga, Maja, and Renata—four women of different ages and personalities—cross paths at a club called Warsaw by Night. Passing each other on the stairs, in the corridors, in the bathroom, they witness glimpses of each other's stories. During their nocturnal journey across the city in search of human connection, they stroll down the same streets, see the same billboards, listen to the same radio news, and share the same cab driver in this compelling character study.
