(ADS Service)

angol Scott Mann tries to make a Michael Mann film and fails miserably, and his sort of raw, shaky digital camera shots are completely doomed. It's almost incomprehensible what an inept director he is, because, with this kind of acting potential, where every person oozes charisma, and with such a strong premise, one could do wonders. Similarly, the screenwriter obviously took a vacation during production, because cramming in so much crap is really an art, and the closer the film gets to the finale, the worse it gets. It's dominated by a would-be grandiose twist that easily surpasses the one in Ocean’s Eleven. If you like De Niro, don't watch it. ()

angol A very pleasant surprise for me. In terms of story, the film doesn't bring anything new, but it is a very good mix of Ocean’s Eleven and Exit Speed. The film has a dynamic pace that doesn't let you catch your breath, there are also surprisingly good actors: the excellent Robert De Niro as the Mafia boss, the cute and fair policewoman Gina Carano, De Niro's uncompromising henchman Morris Chestnut, who ruthlessly kills off everyone, and the pair of kidnappers where Dave Bautista is a classic murderous scumbag and Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a likeable ex-soldier who only needed the money to save his sick daughter (I've never rooted for a kidnapper as much as I do here). There could have been more action, but the decent gunfight, the uncompromising disposal and the very well thought out attack on the bus by the cops, all in an R-rated wrapping (not overly brutal though) are nice. The unexpected twists are a big plus too, especially the final one will blow your mind and make you realise that the people behind this film are not stupid. Great B-movie and I recommend it for a relaxing evening. ()

angol A proper genre direct-to-video B-movie, the kind of which video stores used to be full of. It has only one major flaw, not so much that the whole heist schtick is too predictable, but if I had Gina Carano and Dave Bautista on opposite sides of the barricade in the same movie, I would let them beat the living crap out of each other. angol I was expecting it to be really stupid, but it's not that stupid at all. This is quite a functional film that manages to surprise in some moments. Gina Carano is criminally underutilized because she should be kicking ass, but otherwise, all the main actors did their parts well. I also like that De Niro isn't afraid of making cheaper films that can only end up as B-movies. But good B-movies. ()

angol I was only interested in this movie because it was starring Robert De Niro. But he played a mobster in it who you’re not gonna exactly like. Furthermore, the film offers an array of scenes with a bus just like inSpeed that the story and most of the scenes in the movie depend on. But on the other hand, it’s shot quite well and the action scenes also look much better than most American action movie scenes today, so it’d be a shame to condemn this movie so quickly. And if you last until the end, De Niro fans mayreally enjoy one thing. I know I did. ()
