Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret

Kip Andersen presents his story of how he became a self-confessed obsessive-compulsive environmentalist under the influence of Al Gore's documentary An Inconvenient Truth. Many environmentally minded people will certainly see something of themselves in Andersen's early days. He used to believe that in a little way, by managing waste and saving water, he would help save the environment. But then he came upon a shocking revelation. He learnt information about the devastating nature of agriculture which has been successfully hidden from the public. Thus, he sets off on a journey to put well-known environmental activist organisations and their representatives under the microscope, determined to uncover these deliberately concealed facts. Why are things the way they are, what are their goals and is there a chance for a change? The results of commonly overlooked studies on this topic are presented using infographics. The story introduces the viewer in the scope of the problem through voiceover, animated sequences and shots of natural disaster sites. His message is clear: Do you want to save the world? Go vegan!
