Uno Pihlström (born in Tampere) depicts the village and cultural surroundings of Vehoniemi in the parish of Kangasala in 1936. The film camera strokes the serenity of the farmlands and lakesides; the views by the buildings of Vehoniemi are the most beautiful in the region. The observation tower was built in 1927, the restaurant in 1928, and the guest house in 1929. There were approximately 70 villages in the parish at the time of making this film.
