Flower Girl

Kemi is a young girl living with her embarrassing parents and dreaming about getting married to her boyfriend, Umar. He has promised to marry her when he gets a promotion, and all he can think about is his job. Kemi is growing increasingly impatient, spending her days in her parents' flower shop and planning for the wedding she hopes one day will come. While running an errand, she is hit by a car whose owner turns out to be Tunde Kulani, a famous Nollywood star. Kemi confides her dilemma to him and he offers to help out. They devise a devious plan to bring Umar to his knees, of course setting the stage for an exciting adventure. A romantic comedy with lots of laughter and love. (Göteborg Film Festival)
