Pine Ridge

"Our whole fucking town is a big old fucking ghetto", summarizes a young man to the camera crew. Pine Ridge weaves the destinies of the people in the South Dakotan Indian Reservation into a consistent and lively flow of local experience. There is a touching and endless conflict between wanting to maintain the traditions by staying on the land, and dreaming of leaving the area.
