The French have embarked on an animated film featuring monkeys, but right from the start, it's clear that they're meant to become human. And that's what the film is about. I wonder what the transition from one developmental stage to the next was like. It's pseudo-funny, pseudo-emotional, and overall, it doesn't impress, but it probably doesn't disgust either. The animation is quite good.
