angol Talk about a missed opportunity. Clarke had a sniper rifle, the element of surprise, and took down only one man before being discovered... Simo Häyhä definitely wouldn't approve. This episode was the usual mix of melodramatic speeches and heroic self-sacrifice — just another classic episode of The 100. ()

Pandóra szelencéje (2018) (S05E04) Boo!

angol Another episode that stuck to the usual formula: Octavia remains the ultimate badass, Marcus continues his humanitarian streak, we get plenty of motivational speeches and grandiose monologues, and there's an endless parade of plans and counterplans. I felt for the bunker residents worrying about food shortages, but at least they had enough peroxide to make Gaia look hot. ()

Futóhomok (2018) (S05E05)

angol The Grounders earned a star from me for bravely shielding their despotic leader from a sandstorm that could slice through tents and wreck vehicles. That was truly heroic. The entire expedition seemed pointless from start to finish, and I couldn't grasp its purpose. However, I did get to witness Octavia's deworming, and I'm grateful that my cat just needs a pill for the same issue. I don't think she'd appreciate that method. ()

Kimeneti seb (2018) (S05E06) Boo!

angol Alright, I get it now — Octavia is the reincarnation of Joseph Stalin, which explains her behavior. The plot wasn't as dreadful this time around, but then the creators decided to dive back into their usual mix of over-the-top speeches and heavy-handed melodrama, totally ruining it all over again. ()

Járulékos veszteségek (2018) (S05E07)

angol Either I'm losing my touch, or the writer took a break from the usual nonsense, because I found myself genuinely interested in parts of this episode. The nuclear threat took a backseat, and we finally saw some biological warfare action. Of course, the episode wasn't without its tearjerking moments, but Charmaine Diyoza was amusing. Looks like there will be a lot of worms involved!:-) ()

Út a békéhez (2018) (S05E08)

angol The endless speeches are starting to wear me down. Though they covered a variety of topics (humanism, utopia, motivation, pathos), they were essentially the same recycled rhetoric from the pilot episode. Abby achieves one medical success after another and must be regretting that the Nobel Prize for medicine isn’t in play anymore. ()

Így jár minden zsarnok (2018) (S05E09)

angol I really get a kick out of the lengthy speeches about being the last of humanity and the need to protect every life, only for the speakers to dive right into some serious carnage. That's just how it goes. Can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. The episode had the usual mix of action and a lot of pointless chatter, but Murphy as the instigator of chaos was a highlight and truly entertaining. ()

Harcosok (2018) (S05E10) Boo!

angol The writers have once again abandoned any effort to make sense, reverting to ignoring logic and contradicting their own script. Octavia's "army" splits in half, and her plan to reunite them is by having Gaia fight in the arena? How exactly does that bring back the half that views Gaia as an icon? It seems Monty has been watering the plants with rocket fuel, and Clarke and Madi must have stealth abilities since they managed to stroll through the entire camp unnoticed. And those "interesting" conversations with Octavia... just wow. ()

A sötétség éve (2018) (S05E11) Boo!

angol Clarke helping McCreary? Great choice, right? The scouts were fantastic, their black gear blending perfectly with the snow (not). And that dramatic march to the weapons? Pure genius, definitely a sign of a scriptwriter’s stroke. I also learned how expired adrenaline shots work and can’t stop wondering where the bunker residents got those perfectly shaped meat cubes. And of course, I wasn't spared from another amazing romantic moment... sigh. ()

Damoklész kardja 1. rész (2018) (S05E12) Boo!

angol Despite my rating, this episode was a lot of fun. The attack on the valley felt like a May Day parade, just with more casualties. Clarke switched sides more often than she changes partners, and Bellamy had an incredible superpower: convincing someone not to bleed out. Bravo. And, of course, the last-minute rescue was a complete farce. ()

Damoklész kardja 2. rész (2018) (S05E13) Boo!

angol I have a feeling Jason Rothenberg has no clue how actual battles unfold, and let's not even get started on tactics. Basing a battle plan on the enemy having as many heavy weapons as possible to win is pure amateur hour. Somehow, Robin and Hawkeye managed to pull it off, despite having to drop into heavy automatic gunfire. Too bad they skipped the scene where Rover got additional armor; it seemed pretty crucial. We also got the usual grand gestures, and Bellamy confirmed my suspicion that he’d find time for a speech even while shoveling manure. The obligatory countdown was there, but Grandpa Monty was the highlight. ()

Season 6 (2019) (S06)

angol The creators of the series shamefully wasted a great opportunity for a new beginning. Granted, there was a new planet, there were new opportunities and challenges, but the creative team stubbornly insisted on their established ways. Again, there were awe-inspiring speeches appealing to humanity and love, the planet was again shared by two groups which were a carbon copy of the previous ones, but at least it solved the problem of making the cast younger. Yeah, and Ferrari, that was hilarious, I won't get that out of my head anytime soon :-D ()

Sanctum (2019) (S06E01)

angol The finale set the stage for a complete reboot, giving the creators a chance to start fresh. No surprise, they stuck to their usual formula. But hey, there were some moments that made me laugh which were clearly intended it to be taken very seriously.. I especially enjoyed the team's trial-and-error approach to testing the atmosphere of the new planet. That was a nice touch. ()

Red Sun Rising (2019) (S06E02)

angol The plot swung between hilarious and downright silly. I’m giving it a star purely for the unintended humor. Octavia is still as rough as a cow's tongue, and honestly, I’m here for it. It promises plenty of funny moments down the line. ()

The Children of Gabriel (2019) (S06E03)

angol Now it’s crystal clear to me: instead of a reboot, the creators are just recycling their own ideas. We’ve got new Eloi and Morlocks, complete with hilarious costumes that scream low budget. I’m giving it one star for bringing back Terminator O. – this is exactly what I expected from that character. ()

The Face Behind the Glass (2019) (S06E04)

angol The fourth episode was the most action-packed one yet, but I didn't laugh as much. I'm starting to get a bit creeped out by the new characters. Delilah looks like one of those eerie dolls, and Jordan, her male counterpart, complements her perfectly. ()

The Gospel of Josephine (2019) (S06E05)

angol Episode five almost felt like your standard grown-up show. Alas, the creators couldn't quite steer clear of their usual inconsistencies and unintentional humor, so I settled on two stars in the end. Still, you've got to appreciate the effort. I had a good chuckle over the desperate attempt to use Josephine as a spy. The disguise was spot-on, but as we all know, being able to attach names to faces doesn't guarantee success in itself. Then there was the hilariously absurd moment of rescuing Terminator; I couldn't help but wonder how much weight pregnant Diyoza can deadlift. Ferrari was so hilarious I had tears in my eyes. ()

Memento Mori (2019) (S06E06)

angol After the lively and idea-packed previous episode, things sort of reverted to the same old routine. I mainly gave it a star for Disney cleverly slipping a piece of its universe into The 100 so I got to see Darth Sheidheda:-D. ()

Nevermind (2019) (S06E07) Boo!

angol What a letdown. It felt like a recycled idea, and unfortunately, the local cast and creative crew just couldn't give it that extra spark. Even bringing back semi-forgotten characters from earlier seasons didn't salvage the poor outcome. ()

The Old Man and the Anomaly (2019) (S06E08) Boo!

angol The eighth episode felt like déjà vu with all those inconsistencies and cringe-worthy dialogues. Poor planet Alpha didn't deserve to take the blame for Octavia's aggression, that's for sure. ()
