Báhubali - a kezdet

Shivudu, a salubrious young man with a long-held secret, spots a mask protruding from a waterfall. Struggling against the stream, he draws closer to it in the hopes of discovering its wearer's identity. To his surprise, he meets a beautiful woman, Avanthika, and falls in love with her.  Avanthika tells Shivudu of a vanished kingdom called Mahishmati and its princess, Devasena, who has been kept in prison for the over 25 years. Shivudu succeeds in rescuing her and along the way meets people who discover his secret. He also hears about the legendary King Baahubali, the brave, passionate, and wise son of the kingdom's progenitor, Maharaja Vikramadeva. The King's aunt, the Queen Dowager Shibagami, crowned Baahubali king with these words of wisdom: "A king is remembered not for the number of people he kills, but for the number of people he saves."
