Ubbe’s personal struggle is brilliant, and actually the only memorable thing of the second to last episode, which is not a good sign.

I wasn’t as bored with this episode as I was with the previous ones, which is a pretty sad reason to bump up the rating for a series that initially had me completely hooked. There were only two moments that genuinely amused me: Floki almost destroying the island and Ivar getting all bothered about the immaculate conception. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this episode to Joseph; he might become a little suspicious of Mary.
