Passionate or excellent strategist (?) Rollo, an excellent house robbery, with a fabulous Ragnar, that almost resulted in one of the greatest series twists ever. It’s beginning to be fun.

This episode delivered the most action-packed scenes so far, and they were impressively executed. The happenings in Kattegat were equally engaging, filled with intrigue that made up for the lack of action there. On the downside, the perfectly timed lake meeting between Ragnar and his family in the drifting boat was a bit too convenient. And while Jarl Haraldson is a valuable character, Gabriel Byrne comes off as somewhat tired.
