André, a hajógyár fejlesztőmérnöke megnyeri a vitorlásversenyt, a nagy regattát, saját építésű hajójával. Főnöke azonban erre az örömhírre - hirtelen haragjában - kirúgja. Ám a gyár, a zseniális mérnök nélkül, aki többek között a gyalogló csónakot is feltalálta, nem funkcionál. Ezért a főnök mindent megtesz a mérnök visszaszerzésére. Ennek érdekében igénybe vesz egy törött lábat, néhány elgázolt szárnyast, egy traktort, sőt még a tengerészetet is és indulhat a hatalmas kalamajka. (Mirax)

Before the Weasleys saw the light of day, the Castagniers were the most famous redheaded family. The Little Bather has a pretty decent first half (Fourchaum's "repairing" the ship and the collapsing pulpit had their charm), but then the humour starts to turn into a sequence of action-oriented scenes, which are sometimes unnecessarily prolonged (the trouble with the tractor). I would be lying if I said I didn't laugh, but personally I think Louis de Funès has more funnier comedies to his credit.
