The Knife That Killed Me

Paul Varderman is a loner. After his mother's death, he and his father move to a new city. After arriving to a new school, he gets involved with 'The Freaks', a group on the periphery of school life – those who don't fit in. Outsiders who don't follow the rules set by the local bully, Roth. Unfortunately, however, Paul attracts Roth's attention. Using his ability to manipulate others, Roth uses Paul to send messages between his gang and rivals from another school. Growing pressure from the group pushes Paul to decide what the limits of friendship are... It's a decision that can cost him his life. (Zlín Film Festival)
