A quiet night in for Charlie goes haywire after Kris shows up at his door drunk. But after she wraps her car around a tree, it's Alex who wants to know what’s happened. Struggling to save her life, Charlie and Alex must put their heads together and their feelings aside to help Kris, even as her Spirit does all it can to cross over. Meanwhile an overweight former patient of Maggie’s arrives complaining she’s having a heart attack. But after all surgical signs point to medical malpractice at the hands of her old doctor, Maggie’s career is left on the line as she struggles to clear her name and save her patient.
