There is so much material about Queen that even a two-hour documentary can easily feel only as an excursion of flying through the world. However, when it is a good and especially balanced documentary that focuses on facts, it then offers much of the behind-the-scenes about the creation of songs and does not just stay with talking heads Brian May and Roger Taylor - thanks to the archive Freddie Mercury and John Deacon also talk - then it’s almost impossible to be dissatisfied. Since I love music, Queen are strongly rooted in my memory. But I was only forced to watch this documentary after I saw the movie Bohemian Rhapsody. And you know what? The movie said a lot and it also opened up a number of topics. And this documentary managed to provide closure for several moments, while at the same time raising a whole lot of other questions. I guess things can’t be any different with a band of this kind. All in all, according to the reviews here, this is one of the best documentary films about the band and thanks to its impartiality and objectiveness, I have to agree. ()
