"Maybe it takes almost losing someone before you know how much you're going to miss them." That’s such a great line, even if it comes from a film as chaotic as The Family Tree. It starts off with this quirky, slightly offbeat vibe that’s oddly entertaining. Then it jumps around—talking about God, memory loss, and a bunch of other random things—before settling into a story about happiness. Despite all the wild shifts, the movie holds together with a decent plot and a cast that does a good job keeping it fun.
