The cinema of moral concern, represented not only by Krzysztof Kieślowski and Agnieszka Holland, but also by director Feliks Falk, focused on ethical dilemmas that every person must face sometimes in the course of their lives. Presenter Lutek gets a chance to finally prove his abilities and to host a large ball. However, strong competitors are in his way, so he decides to get rid of them unscrupulously. On his way to success, he even betrays his friends. The brilliant Jerzy Stuhr managed to portray the main character convincingly and naturally. The film makes its Czech premiere in a newly restored print. (Febiofest)
