angol The pop face of Václav Neckář with everything that it encompasses - not when we were waiting for his first truly adult album “Tomu, kdo nás má rád" for two years, “Planetárium" for six years and eleven years for “Příběhy, písně a balady". But that doesn't mean this is bad. The first ten minutes are taken up by a very wacky and even parodic mixture of the most famous songs, which were already so outdated in 1972 that Neckář and Bacily simply had to make fun of them (they also liked to play this mixture live, as the recording on the album “Doktor Dam Di Dam" and his Bacily proves), but then, starting with the then fresh hit “Světská sláva, polní tráva", and the regular songs and regular music videos come next. In between there is one bit of buffoonery, namely “Srdce v rytmu operety", which is, however, more bearable than the introduction and in which Neckář's acting talent also shines through. ()
