Sick Boy

Nothing is easier than the babysitter job. That is what young Lucy thinks as she fills in for a friend and takes care of Dr. Helen Gordans son. At first it does not seem suspicious that the little boy may not leave his room due to a rare disease - but that will change soon. Lucy begins to suspect that Dr. Helen Gordon is trying to hide a dark secret. She has no idea what cruel and deadly truth she is about to find out. This movie is a homage to the works of Hitchcock and the horror films of the late 70s and does not have to hide behind its models at any point. Director Tim T. Cunningham in Sickboy creates an atmosphere of constant threat which is broken by moments of shock that go all the way down to your spine just in time. The film stars Skye McCole Bartusiak playing Lucy, as well as horror icon Debbie Rochon as the mysterious Dr. Helen Gordan. Sick Boy is a disturbing horror thriller dripping with blood which you do not get in such a masterly style every-day. (Gryphon Entertainment)
