Donnie Yen is a guarantee of quality and I thoroughly enjoyed this epic historical flick. The opening war scene, where Donnie disarms a German unit, is so stylish and breathtaking that I nearly shattered glasses all around me. While the film focuses more on the plot, the intrigue and unadorned period still make it something to watch, Donnie has almost superhuman abilities here, and all the action scenes are among the highlights both in terms of choreography and eye-catching top-notch visuals. 75%
