Ráadásul Philen olykor eluralkodik a kapuzárási pánik. Jay homoszexuális fia, Mitchell együtt él Cameronnal, és épp arra készülnek, hogy egy távol-keleti kislányt örökbe fogadjanak. (HBO Europe)

Atya gatya (2017) (S09E03)

angol The third episode maybe didn't deserve five stars, but I couldn't help myself. The quality of the day was decided by the conditionogram for Jáchym, while Phil chose a simpler method. Nevertheless, I fully enjoyed his day full of danger. Glorie didn't start well either, but Haley without a phone was perfect. // "I know how to deal with sociopaths, you have to fool them first." ()

Szex, hazugság, kickball (2017) (S09E04)

angol The creators cunningly tempted me at the beginning with the promise of erotic moments between Phil and Claire (they never disappoint), but just as I prepared myself for an exciting shift, everything somehow fizzled out and the episode remained completely devoid of any excitement until the end. This time I was quite disappointed. // "You were born in Texas." "You disgusting bastard!" ()

Öreg vagyok én már ehhez (2017) (S09E05)

angol So this is not okay! The creators have once again ruined the impression of the Halloween episode for me. It will be hard to show satisfaction when Claire doesn't get a chance for her notorious bloodcurdling scream. Furthermore, the only thing more annoying in this show than Cameron is his stupid stories. // "I'm surprised that even though a cheesy catchphrase is the only thing that separates you from your grandchildren, you almost choked in the refrigerator." / "Don't worry about fumes, we're ventilating." / "You're almost the worst guy I've ever been with!" ()

Tíz évvel később (2017) (S09E06)

angol I don't know, either I had a bad day today, or the scripts of individual episodes need to be improved. I should have enjoyed Jay's wedding anniversary, but all the effort of Phil and Gloria was overshadowed by incredibly annoying Cameron and his musical number. // "Someone must have sneaked into my closet and knocked down my wedding dress. Probably my sister." ()

Bajnokok vacsorája (2017) (S09E07)

angol No glory, so I finally got it today. The seventh episode is exactly the kind that I love. It was almost like from Tarantino, plenty of high-quality dialogues and a bloody bath came at the end (figuratively speaking, no panic). I really enjoyed this episode and had a great time. // "Claire, why do you have a number on you? Are you going to a beauty contest?" ()

Híresség észlelés (2017) (S09E08)

angol I initially rated the episode with four stars, but what Phil and Jay did convinced me to improve the rating. Phil staggering with the IV stand was simply magical, and Jay's efforts to escape the jury, or rather to stay in the jury, were great. 5*- // "It's about three persecuted women in different times or a time traveler who has bad luck, I don't know yet." / "All guys fold the same way." ()

Kemény szeretet (2017) (S09E09)

angol Honestly, if it wasn't for Phil's trip to the "wilderness," it would have been a four-piece for me, but because I almost died laughing at his videos, I added a fifth. Cameron's sister Pam didn't impress me again, but Lily and Claire saved the situation, especially the truck driver. // "He wasn't upset?" "He was kind and quiet." ()

Derűre Bo (2017) (S09E10)

angol The tenth episode didn't impress me, but it also didn't disappoint me, it was just a standard affair in which Phil and Gloria didn't really shine this time. Instead, Luke and Alex amused me, the combination of those two brains had to end in a business success. // "Finally, I have time for hobbies, to exorcise the devil in all its forms." ()

Hátsó kerti szándékok (2018) (S09E11)

angol No big or small enthusiasm came this time. The episode was somehow lifeless, and if the events at the street committee managed to entertain me a little, Lily's celebration and Mitchell and Cameron's visit to the therapist really dragged on. And then there's Pam... // "I let him cast a spell, I, on the other hand, am breaking promises, we know who we married." ()

A sokadik búcsú (2018) (S09E12)

angol The previous episode did not convince me twice, and then came another weaker episode. I actually really like the parts that revolve around Phil, but here I had a feeling that Phil is in the hospital too often, that the creators are running out of ideas? Despite my dissatisfaction, I still added half a star for Phil's farewell videos and for Gloria going crazy, because I watched the original version, and it was worth it. 4*- // "Claire, everything is fine, but I'm taking Phil to the hospital. Heeee's deeeaaad!!!" ()

Az urnás bosszantás (2018) (S09E13)

angol "I have a feeling that the creators were running out of steam in the ninth season. Besides Haley's unexpected success in scientific circles, nothing really stood out to me, although I admit that Phil's attempt to rescue Luke from the roof had that true Dunphy magic." // "It was scarier at night, they were playing jazz here." ()

Meg van írva a csillagokban (2018) (S09E14)

angol Even though Clive was only on the phone on this Valentine's Day and Juliana didn't show up at all, it wasn't such a tragedy because Gina was having a great time at the bar and the undubbed version helped a lot. I still haven't gotten used to Gloria's voice change. The episode didn't have the best Valentine's moments, but I was entertained. "You're acting like a typical Capricorn, the Sun revolves around the Earth and not around you!" "Do you know how many attractive geniuses there are in the world? Only him, and when I try, me too." ()

Fenekestül (2018) (S09E15)

angol There's no party like a party, I mean, I think Jay's parties are among the most fun, but I really didn't care about that whole thing with Mitchell and Cameron. Their problems seem incredibly absurd to me, but not in a funny way, they just annoy me. In this episode, I actually only enjoyed Alex. // "Keep the mustache, but don't speak." ()

Mi erre, tiara (2018) (S09E16)

angol I know, once again I was strongly uncritical, but several previous episodes disappointed me, I needed a good laugh and it happened here quite well, so I pushed it a little further. The creators have already used the conclusion with a domino effect several times, but it still works for me, so why not? // "Bolivia?" "Guatemala. Venezuela?" "Colombia." "Hmmm..." ()

Többet ésszel, mint ebéddel (2018) (S09E17)

angol Mitchell and Cameron at meditation. This beginning wasn't the best for me because I can only tolerate Cameron occasionally and in small doses. The storyline about Jay and Gloria didn't really interest me either, so everything centered around the Dunphy family with the support of a firefighter and an astrophysicist. // "Are you dressing younger? Have you started exercising? You only had breakfast once this morning? Who do you have, Jay?! I'll kill her!!" / "It doesn't matter that Bill isn't a member of the men's club." ()

Fordulatos évforduló (2018) (S09E18)

angol I closed both my eyes (don't applaud, my left eye is actually always half-closed, so it wasn't such a feat) so that I could give the 18th episode five stars in my review. The episode had its flaws and it probably didn't deserve a perfect score, but oh well. I enjoyed the April Fools' pranks and the anniversary of Phil and Claire touched my heart, so let it be. // "What a shot, operator, I wish you could see it." "I see, you're a lovely couple." ()

Vigyázz, kész, felépülés (2018) (S09E19)

angol As if the creators heard me, Cameron was exactly where he should be, in the back of the car, preferably out of the shot. That was great because I have no problem with Mitchell, he can always make me laugh. I also enjoyed Phil and Claire's challenge after ten years and Gloria's "business" sale. "It's going to be difficult, she's used to the fact that salsa doesn't sell." "I would admit that you were right and I would listen to it for the rest of my life. Well... your life." ()

Anyám! (2018) (S09E20)

angol In the end, the episode turned out much better than I expected based on the opening scene. The Dunphy family once again provided the biggest portion of entertainment, the drawing for the order in the line for Claire's relaxed hour was flawless, and the final harmony among the mothers was perfect. // "You can't! Only me." ()

A szabadulás (2018) (S09E21)

angol I couldn't help it, I had to add a fifth piece. I enjoyed another action of the anti-Pritchett coalition, the spontaneous escape game completely shattered me, but Phil's heroic fight for justice (and the fishing cabin) and Claire's effort to achieve her goal were great. // "Relax, we've been together for three months and everyone knows that Liverpool is going for the title." / "Did you kill uncle?" / "Does anyone have a spoon? Let's Shawshank ourselves out." ()

Kardok csatája (2018) (S09E22)

angol I was actually expecting something more from the season finale episode, so I was quite disappointed. However, Phil and Mitchell's participation in HeroCon was fantastic, but the other storylines felt weaker to me. I didn't really enjoy Gloria's storyline, her rivalry with Donna Duncan rather annoys me. // "Manny?! Manny, this is a kidnapping!" ()
