Demonic Beauty unfortunately shows that the Thais really weren't, or rather weren't yet, technologically advanced enough to attempt something so daring. Perhaps if they had gone the route of classic effects and focused on just one or two successful scenes, it would have turned out better. As it is, it's extremely interesting stuff that hasn't been used to its full potential and will rather disappoint both the ignorant and knowledgeable viewer.
