Summer of the Flying Saucer

It is the summer of 1967. While the rest of the world dances to the Beatles, miniskirts rule and hippie-fashion is all the rage, Dan Mullaney (15) is stuck on a farm in rural Mayo - "the mole on the back-arse of nowhere". His biggest dream - to live anywhere else but here - is hindered by his father, Ciaran, who considers it Dan's duty to stay and take over the farm. His dull existence on a farm in County Mayo is turned topsy-turvy when aliens land in his back-yard. He must use all his guile to help them pass as humans while at the same time he falls for the alien girl. (Zlín Film Festival)
