The movie "Animal Instincts" is simply bad. The characters could be interesting, but the film shouldn't take itself so seriously. However, even then you would realize that they are actually not at all original, but rather the typical ones that you often find in a pub in movies. The special effects are quite bad, maybe that's why there are very few tricks, not to mention the masks. A bit of gore doesn't save anything, just like a bit of eroticism doesn't save much either, which may seem sharper, but in reality, it's still soft.
