Lupaus

Promise (Lupaus) is a moving story about three young women whose lives are inflicted by World War II in Finland. They all decide to set their dreams aside for their country and join up in the voluntary, unarmed Lotta Svärd defense service. Hope and love carry women through the harsh realities of war. The film follows five years of the lives of Mona, Anna and Ruth from 1939 to 1944. Those years would change their lives for ever. (forgalmazó hivatalos szövege)
