While the investigation into the deputy sheriff's death didn't particularly engage me, it was the injection of humor that lifted it up a notch for me, earning an extra star. Moments like the venison goulash, the dynamic between Dani and Tidwell, and the peculiar dinner at Crews' place were certainly highlights that made it worth the watch.
