He's the quiet man next door in a neighbourhood of nuts. Perhaps a little eccentric but not unlike anyone else who has a penchant for collecting. He values food both rare and abundant. He hoards it in cupboards, the pantry, anywhere that there's a space. It's not, however, for the purposes of consumption. He likes to look at it. He needs the original packaging and the alternative brands. The upkeep, of course, is intensive. It threatens to take over his life. in order to survive, so as not to spoil his collection, he eats people. It makes sense right? Taking illogical obsession to its logical and mostly disturbing conclusion, The Man Who Collected Food is a horror-comedy for anyone with an appetite for a ribald critique on human consumerism.
