Lone Star

This epic saga is set against the backdrop of the struggle for Texas' independence following the battle of the Alamo. A cattle tycoon (Clark Gable) is asked by President Andrew Jackson (Lionel Barrymore) to persuade Sam Houston to bring Texas into the Union.
