angol An icon of world pop and perfect harmony between her music and the perfectly shot film. Madonna is shown to be a huge personality and in her rendering, even a promotion for children in Africa seems appropriately inserted. A good few years later, there is also the somewhat bitter memory of the time when "La Isla Bonita" still had an estimate of its own potential and the audience for her was not just overgrown weeds. angol Madonna's Confessions Tour period may not be one of my favorites, but it's a hell of a show, all credit to it. All those transformations from a BDSM jockey to Madonna as Jesus on the cross to 1970s disco have energy and that's the main point. In any case, I'm not an advocate of mixing a show with politics, and while it's commendable that Madonna is trying to educate her fans about tolerance and concern for world issues, in the DVD reruns her appeal becomes just filler between the bits.
