Set in the powerful Mali Empire of the 13th century, Yeelen follows the journey of Nianankoro, a young warrior who must battle the powerful Komo cult. A person doesn't even want to have prejudices, but then ends up surprised by what actually came from Africa and how well they managed to work with actors who don't look like actors at all, and most crews wouldn't even want to work with them. All the more is the movie believable, strong, and interesting. Here, you really experience some scenes mainly thanks to the visuals and overall layout.
