Magdalena Viraga

Magdalena Viraga tells the story of a woman crushed by a patriarchal world: a prostitute accused of killing one of her clients. Ida is sent from one prison to another: from desperate, monotonous sexual encounters in dive hotels to the walls of a prison. Ida is a protagonist suffering from an inner ordeal: a tortuous path stained by blood and sacrifice, at the end of which she finds something approximating freedom.
