angol John Wayne creates an interesting character of a singing gunslinger here, who has a bad reputation, but even this character cannot save the western, which is simply poorly directed as a film. There is strange camera work during dialogues, accompanied by odd acting in some places. The editing is not good, only occasionally saved by a faster-paced scene or some stunt work. Overall, it's more like average. ()
