The main character, Oskar, loves computers and spends most of his time either in front of a monitor or with his friend Filip. When Oskar is rejected by a girl who then turns around and begins dating their rich classmate, Oskar decides to radically change his life in order to get the girl of his dreams. He spends the last of his allowance on changing his appearance and finds work with a computer company. He gets his first few breaks and soon has plenty of work to keep him occupied while transforming into a smartly dressed businessman. Everything was on the right path until a little accident happened that Oskar would really like to forget. Instead, he is forced to prove himself as an expert in quite a different field than he is used to. He ends up in a whirlwind of bizarre situations and events from which he sees no exit. He has little time for his friend Filip, school, or even work as a programmer. He’s at his wit’s end, but his troubles have just begun… (forgalmazó hivatalos szövege)

I am fascinated by how contemporary Czech films can passionately describe real people, create real-life situations, and how their creators are so sensitive to their surroundings that even the occasional funny moments can be filmed with real humorous refinement. Or: A tragic mixture of everything bad that can be imagined in a film, which will make you ashamed not only of the professional cinematography, sound, and editing but also of Czech cinema as such, given the topic, the exaggerated product placement, and the prospect of the state subsidy.

If it was about sweaty, clumsy jokes about inexperienced boys, maybe I would be more forgiving. But the Experts pretend to be - experts. Above it all, totally cool and of course in the know. But they're not, and the acting ensemble, including Hádek, deserves to have this film material for lunch. Literally.
