A remarkable television piece for its time, albeit with a minimal budget, but based on a quality literary source and additionally well-acted. The romance of a sparsely populated wilderness, where different laws apply than in civilization, is palpable in the film. However, it is true that there was minimal competition in this area at that time. Overall impression, with nostalgia in mind, 70%.
