The House Next Door

Lori and Tom Peterson have moved into their dream home, next door to perfect neighbors Carl and Helen Schmidt. Lori, still haunted by a brutal rape in Chicago years earlier, soon begins to suspect that the Schmidt's are not what they appear to be. When Helen mysteriously disappears, Lori is convinced that Carl is responsible. Lori's compulsive spying soon draws Carl's unsavory attention and she must convince her best friend Monica, as well as the local sheriff, that Carl is not the fine citizen everyone thinks he is, but rather a cold blooded killer. As the evidence points increasingly to Carl as the murderer, Lori finds herself suddenly trapped in her own home, trying desperately to escape the man who must silence her to keep his dark secret.
