Bár a Rendőrakadémiáról továbbra is özönlenek a vidám, ámde ügyefogyott közrendőrök, Lassard parancsnok (George Gaynes) mégis úgy véli, a közbiztonság érdekében ideje a civileket is bevetni. A civilképző program jelentős politikai és médiatámogatással el is indul. Ennek az örök rivális, Harris hadnagy (G. W. Bailey) örül talán a legjobban, hiszen a renden őrködő amatőr rendőrök esetlenkedései elől senki sincs biztonságban. Már-már a Rendőrakadémia soha nem is létező jóhíre forog kockán, ám Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg) és a hű rendőrgyakornokok hada – a gyönyörű riporternő (Sharon Stone) segítségével – elhárítja a vészt. angol It's starting to repeat itself a bit and this movie basically plagiarizes itself. There are scenes here that have appeared in similar execution in previous movies. The most interesting one is probably the pool scene, where we finally see Leslie Easterbrook as we wanted to see her. ()

angol When I was younger, I quite liked Police Academy 4, but with the passage of time, I realize that this is a sub-par episode that rips off the previous three films. Still, I was most amused by the scenes with Zed and Mr. Sweetchuck, and at times with Grandma Feldman – the other characters were more of an afterthought. The first installment of the series, where the drop in quality was already noticeable. ()
