Holy Lola

The desire to adopt a child takes a young couple, Pierre and Géraldine, on an adventure through a country martyrised by history: Cambodia, launching them into a neverending odyssey: visits to oprphanages, confrontations with the French and Cambodian authorities… not forgetting the mistrust and the envy, but also the solidarity of the little community of adopters brought together by chance. The search brings the couple face to face with their fears and selfishness. (Huesca International Film Festival)
