The film takes you through the complete history of time, from the Big Bang 13.7 billion years ago to the current moment. The trick is the speed at which the scale of narration takes place grows slower by one category every 100 seconds. The parallels between the processes of different scales that we usually cannot see become clearer and more open to intuition. The footage in the film was created by generative artificial intelligence. It was created based on texts describing latent space of diffusion models, which you can imagine as an unclear memory of a publicly accessible visual memory of humankind on which the models were trained. Therefore, the images generated by the AI are not reconstructions of history, but rather a reflection of how we imagine, paint, or film the world around us. (Academia Film Olomouc)
