Merz - En film om Kurt Schwitters

A documentary on the multiartistic Kurt Schwitters, who beyond limits and with his humorous one-man art direction Merz, became one of the central artists in the post-war period. Schwitters work spans from collages and paintings to creative space- sculptures and abstract poetry. The film deals with Schwitters experiences in Germany after the first World War and his long exile in Norway in the thirties. (Norsk Filminstitutt)
