Trančík

What moral responsibility does an artist have to other people and to himself? This is one of the many questions asked by the Slovak director, Dušan Trančík, in the documentary film. Through his films and reflections, we return to the period of normalization, when creative work was fully affected by the communist apparatus. Trančík also opens up the complicated situation in Slovak art after the fall of communism. With his thoughts and works, he responds to burning topics in our society.
