The Road is the story of five inmates who have been released on parole. A wide and detailed panaroma of Turkey is drawn with the stories of each inmate during their long journey home by bus and train. Although it's quite evident what makes this story strong, highlighting how problematic society is, as well as how challenging it is to live in it and try to live with people under the supervision of a dysfunctional state, I couldn't bring myself to enjoy the film and contemplate it. Still, it is a very good production that just didn't appeal to me.
